Tipotex Chevrolet Inc. (Tipotex, Dealership, Grantor, us, we), is proud to offer our customers this (7) seven part Limited Lifetime Warranty (LLW) on collision repairs we perform, to commence on the effective date noted herein:

1) METAL AND FRAME WORK LLW:  includes welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs is warranted against cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration, excluding rust.

2) PAINTING, STRIPES AND DECALS LLW:  painting-related priming and paint work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation, and, on the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals.  NOTE:  Stripes and decals that we use in the repair cannot be guaranteed to match (color, size, style, etc.) as the originals, as these items are typically not standardized and subject to discontinuation by suppliers.   We will attempt to match them as closely as possible or, if we choose, replace them totally with similar ones.  Customer is responsible for all additional costs.

3) MECHANICAL REPAIRS LLW:  all repairs pertaining directly to original collision damage only, but not maintenance services, such as wheel alignments and balancing of tires, which are warranted for 12 mo. or 12,000 mi., whichever occurs first.

4) PARTS LLW:  on original equipment sheet metal parts from the vehicle manufacturer (OEM).  Warranty offered on all other parts are determined by and administered according to that manufacturer's stated warranty.  ?Used? sheet metal & parts are warranted for 90 days from effective date stated herein.  Parts items, such as tires, shock absorbers, batteries, belts and the like are not covered by this warranty, but instead, by specific warranties offered by their manufacturer.

5) SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED FROM LLW:  A.  Incidental costs, such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, and assemblies and components that are not specifically covered by this LLW, nor B.  Consequential damages, such as damage to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part or installation of such part when installed or repaired during the repair job, C.  Surface rust, rust through, and/or damage to sheet metal caused by rusting of metal parts (screws, bolts, fasteners) used to join interior or exterior panels, and D. damage resulting from misuse, alteration, failure to provide reasonable upkeep or care of the vehicle, failure to mitigate damage, failure to report damage to us on a timely basis to avoid further damage, and environmental damage (sun, heat, acid rain, etc.).  NOTE:  The LLW shall be null and void if the repairs made to the subject vehicle are altered, adjusted or tampered with unless authorized by Warranty Grantor (Tipotex General Manager) in writing, or the vehicle is no longer owned by the named person below.  The LLW is not transferable to anyone.

6) CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATIONS:  In order to obtain the benefits of this warranty, the owner of the vehicle, who is named below, must do the following:  A.  Present  vehicle to Tipotex Management for annual inspections; B.  Present the owner's copy of this warranty document and the subject vehicle to the Warranty Grantor during normal business hours with a written list detailing repairs and/or parts that are subject to the warranty; C.  Authorize Tipotex to perform the warranted repairs; D.  Allow reasonable time to schedule and make the repairs; and E.  Provide proof that vehicle ownership remains with the named person below.

7) REPAIRS COVERED IN LLW:  Tipotex will repair, paint, or replace any items included in sections 1-4, when the customer meets all obligations in section 6.  Tipotex shall have the option to sublet any or all repairs to a facility of our choice that meets automobile collision repair industry standards.

ALL THE LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY made by Tipotex is stated herein and provided to the named person on the vehicle noted below.  This warranty shall not be varied, supplemented, qualified or interpreted by any prior course of dealings, and becomes valid when signed by both parties.  Oral statements made cannot be honored.
