If you’re a teacher, teacher’s aide, principal, faculty member, or staff member of a public school or private school and you reside in the United States, you’re eligible for the GM Educator Program. Likewise, if you’re a professor, adjunct professor, or any staff member employed by a college or university, you’re eligible for the program as well. That includes employees of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, South Texas College, and Franklin University.
To claim your GM Educator cash allowance, register as a GM Educator here to get a GM authorization number. When you visit our dealership, you’ll also need a copy of the participant’s school badge or a copy of their most recent pay stub (pay stub must be from the last 30 days.) In addition, bring a copy of the purchaser’s driver’s license with the license number redacted. It should show the ZIP Code and Date of Birth that was used to obtain the authorization number. The eligible Purchaser’s Date of Birth and ZIP Code must match the eligible Purchaser’s driver’s license.
